  • Soy Souce?

    Hi all,

    I would like to know about the Soy Souce.. is it acceptable? I read on its back for nutritional information and found out that Carbs = 0!

    Could someone please advice? thank you!

    Suzan,

    According to the Kikkoman site, "Kikkoman soy sauces are naturally brewed, made from three ingredients - soybeans, wheat and salt.". Since soybeans and wheat are not allowed on induction, I would think that soy sauce is also a no-no. However, a more experienced person may know more. Any long-timers think differently?

        it depends on the ingredients in your soy sauce we have several topic detailing the legalities of soy sauce on here if you use the search feature on our blue tool bar you will find them.

          Suzan, number of carbs doesnt matter if the ingredients are not on the permitted list.

          Eventhough the label says 0 carbs, doesnt mean it is. The FDA allows companies to use "0" so long as the carb amounts are .49 or less per serving. Truth in labelling at its finest.
