  • Ugh; Just one of those days.

Its been a poor week for me, I actually gained weight! the only bad thing I introduced was chewing gum, so thats now been stopped.

Whilst I can rationalize in my head about water retention being the culprit it becomes very hard when you're stuck on a training course and the breakfast is catered by dunkins and the lunch by domino's!

    Fed up and hungry.

I'm having a bad week too, so I can relate. If there were the right carbs in my house last night, I seriously would have cheated. Thank goodness I cleaned out the kitchen early on. Thank goodness I'm too lazy to drive to a store at 11PM just to cheat.

Donuts and Pizza - the two things that are the toughest. They still taste great after years of Atkins (some roten food dosen't taste all that great to me now). There arn't really any LC substitutes that taste the same.

But - these are two of the foods that are killing Americans - and they want to KILL you.

View them like Cocain. Fun at the time but will ABSOLUTELY destoy your life!

A bad week gives you the opportunity for a fantastic week next week.

well the lunch is great if you throw that disposible plate Domino's provides away.

And since this is a training course maybe you should contact HR and suggest they provide a better nutrional breakfast then doughnuts in order to train y;all to eat better and to be atr your peak poerformance on the training course.

Pizza I could take or leave, but my goodness those sugared rings of delight looked so good. I finally ate, nasty McDonald's burgers.

you definately need to learn how to budget your time and plan accordingly. i make sure to plan out when i take my supplements, when i do exercises, what i eat, etc... same goes for food. don't blame the catered dominos or donuts if you feel like giving in, remember you alone are the one making the decisions of what you do. sure you can have whatever everyone else is having but what's going to happen, you're back at square one. if they serve carb or junk food where you're at, bring snacks or head somewhere real quick down the street and get something low carb. there is no excuses for giving into temptation, none that i can think of at the moment. so plan your days, plan your meals and always be prepared for that "what if" moment. which reminds me, it's time to pack my supplements for breakfast tomorrow at 6am.

One time I did this visualization trick I learned about to help my desire for doughnuts...it actually worked for years (I know it sounds impossible). I pictured a doughnuts with motor oil gooped all over it with cockroaches crawling around on it and it actually popped in my head every time I'd see a donut. Oh and McD's hamburgers are gross.

I actually planned to go out for lunch but when i got there it was pretty remote; i plan a lot but sometimes you just get caught with your pants down

By the way, i didnt eat this junk, but it wasnt easy given my mental state
