I am so annoyed. We go to Friday's for lunch today - I look at the website to try and get nutritional info before we go over since I find that I stay on track more when I can record everything and get the little chart. No, it's not some sick thing, or being neurotic, or substituting an addiction by tracking. It makes me more aware of what I'm eating which makes me feel better. ANYWAY. Friday's won't give it out. I can't put it in the tracker because they refuse to give it - I call the corporate office, they refuse to give it out. I don't get this. I f'n hate them. They have some great salads though. The bastards.

This was on the website, don't know what all they still carry from it but didn't know if you had seen it.

Re: TGI Friday's
I did check that website - the Tuscan spinach dip is one of those things you can get with veggies instead of chips that I appreciate there. The salad I wanted was new, Italian chop chop salad, with like, just meats and cheeses on it, but I still wanted to put it in the menu thingie and get the info for it. I'm annoyed with them saying they have Low Fat/Low Carb menus, so the only thing they show for Low Fat is under 500 cal, under 5g fat, and for Low Carb the only info given is Carb counts, so what if I want to know protein, calories and fat along with carbs? What's so horrid about that? The guy at corporate said it was a liability issue that they aren't always made the same so they can't give all the info - but they can give that certain items have 17g carbs all the time even though they might not be made exactly the same?!?!Originally posted by AtkidThis was on the website, don't know what all they still carry from it but didn't know if you had seen it.

Re: TGI Friday's
On their website the ingredients are listedSo assuming you dont eat the bread it should be fairly low in carbsITALIAN CHOP CHOP SALAD
Crisp lettuce chopped and tossed with Italian Vinaigrette dressing, salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, olives, roasted red peppers, artichokes and tomatoes. Topped with shaved Parmesan cheese and served with toasted bread wedges.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: TGI Friday's
I didn't eat the bread, and got it without tomatoes, so I know it should be safe. I just can't track it. That's the whole point, I mean, I can make informed decisions on what should be safe or not safe, but I can't put them into my food diary if I don't have the nutritional info for them!!27/f/5'10"

Re: TGI Friday's
I see your problem, Lyssie, but you might be able to make a fairly good guess by estimating the quantity of each ingredient and adding it as a separate item. It wont be as accurate as numbers from the maker of the dish, but will probably be near enough.Originally posted by LyssieI didn't eat the bread, and got it without tomatoes, so I know it should be safe. I would however write a letter to their head office explaining how frustrating and irritating it has been for you that they wont put the nutrition info out there for their customers to find. I know one letter won't change their attitude overnght but a steady drip of them from many customers might get the point home eventually.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
