I picked up a calcium supplement today but before taking them (but after opening them) I noticed the 2nd ingredient was cornstarch! Is that a no-no?

I take GNC Calcium Complete pills, bottle says: "No Artificial Color, No Artificial Flavors, No Starch, No Sugar, No Preservatives, Sodium Free, No Wheat, No Gluten, No Corn, No Dairy, Yeast Free" Seems good to go.

I've been taking supplements not knowing that corn starch was in them. I hope this is the explanation for my staff of weight loss cause I haven't been loosing aside from the 4lbs when I wasn't take them.

GNC has good vitamins (I take them), but you can find cheaper ones that do not have any carbs. You just have to look. I remember spending lots of time at the stores reading vitamin labels.Start 7/5/2004
