    I'm back from Las Vegas.

    I feel like the fat old Elvis....

    gained a couple of pounds, but no big deal. I was doing research for the latest food trends.

    Now to report what I found to my restaurant bosses and back to induction.

    I actually wasn't too bad while out there and I walked all over the place and walked around a couple areas at the grand canyon too. Very cool trip!
    "I'm big boned" ...Um, nobody has bones that big....

    Buffalo wings, not just for breakfast anymore.

    I am so jealous! I love Las Vegas!!! Last time I went there, we didn't rent a car, and my boyfriend and I walked at least 8 miles a day!

    The latest Vegas food trend I noticed was the price...sheesh! It's really gone up in the past few years.

        molecular is out

        the trend now is farm food.
        I had it in 2 different restaurants. all the way from KY to Las vegas to eat farm food...
        meat loaf and fried chicken are the hot items.
        and I am not kidding!
        there was no foamed foie gras anywhere! just macaroni and cheese!
        "I'm big boned" ...Um, nobody has bones that big....

            Welcome home Kevin. I like the idea of farm food cause that means all my grandmothers recipes have probably come full circle. Did you find something that was particularly good and low carb?

                the new Bouchon is open out there so it's not dead totally.....

                Low carb in Vegas.... $7.99 prime rib or 10.99 surf and turf.

                the rest was all carb city!!!

                fried chicken and meatloaf are the hot tickets. everybody serves it now.
                I did have BBQ wild boar ribs that were great!
