I'm cleaning out my cabinets and was wondering if there are foods/ingredients that I will never use again? I know I'm on OWL/berries and that I will still be adding in more foods up the rungs and will keep those things that I'm sure about. But, there are a few things I'm not so sure about.
Such as:
Corn starch
Mixes (like for crab cakes, hush puppies, creole rice, etc.)
Canned soup
Canned fruit
Regular peanut butter
All types of flour: rye, pumpernickle, white, wheat, cake, pastry, etc.
honey
Will some of these things eventually come back into maintenance or are some of these things gone forever? I wasn't sure, but would like some input so I know what to throw away and what to save for later.
Matt (DH) came in and threw out his pancake syrup (he's starting Induction tomorrow) and said that he'll never be eating that again.
Thanks for any help.
