  • Question about amount of food

I have a quick question about amounts of food. I've been doing a clean induction for a week. During the week, I wasn't hungry at all. Today I seem to be more hungry - I'm assuming because I am in closer proximity to my refrigerator than I am during the week.

Anyway, is it okay if I eat more as long as it's induction friendly and I don't go past my limits for cheese and veggies?

Here's what I had so far today.

Breakfast: 2 eggs with 1/2 oz cheese, 2 slices bacon

Snack: 1 cup salad with 2 Tbsp ranch dressing and 1 oz cheddar cheese

Lunch: Boneless, skinless chicken breast (4 oz) pan fried in Olive Oil with Brocolli (1 cup)

hehe, now that I write it down and look at it, I guess it isn't as much as I thought. Maybe because I am used to getting everything ready in the morning during the week.

Anyway, my questions still stands. As long as I am eating induction friendly foods, am I okay if some days I eat more than others?

Yup. 'til you're satisfied, not stuffed. If it's just boredom, try doing an exercise video, or go for a walk. Have you had your water? If you get a glass of water before you eat, sometimes you realize you weren't hungry after all, just thirsty.

Yes, Kathy, as long as you stick to the induction list and quantities and are only eating because you are hungry and till no longer hungry then go ahead and eat!

If you have recently eaten and know you are wanting to eat through habit or for something to do then try to divert your attention by maybe going for a walk, drinking a glass of water, getting out the knitting to keep your hands busy etc!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Thanks for the ideas! But there will be no knitting for me...I'd probably knit my hands together, although I would love to learn. It's on my list of things I really want to do.

Yes I have noticed that some days I am just a bit more hungry where as other days I have to remind myself to eat. No other reason for it, no sweet stuff, no cheating, just happens.
