    I lost 21 pounds in my first two weeks. I started at 216 and ended the two weeks at 195. I also exercised.

      I think it was about 17 lbs or more. Started at 270 plus ( I only claim a 255 start weight in my sig due to a malfunctioning scale issue creating an uncertainty over my exact start weight) and made 185 7 months later, still holding around 192 after 2 years but I've gained a lot of muscle with my workouts.
      Male, 255 start / 185 now / original goal of 200

      I raise vegetarians for human consumption.

        Gosh that's so far back...I think I lost 7 pounds during my first two weeks. Began at 176.

            I lost 11 lbs during a clean induction, without exercising (bad me!) and with my thyroid still being out of whack.

            I think it really varies alot by how much weight you have to lose, how correctly you do induction, whether you exercise and what other health issues you might have, in addition to your particular metabolism/body type etc.

            You're best bet to do an absoluely clean induction and thus determine your metabolic resistance as Dr. Atkins said. Doing a clean induction can be difficult but if you follow the guidelines here on ADBB and ask questions, you are more likely to succeed.

            Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
            Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

            Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
            Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
            Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
            Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!

              I lost 17lbs but the second week I was stuck in a hotel on business so it wasnt easy to stick to super clean induction.

                I lost 8. I started at 255 and needed to lose about 80 pounds
