6 lb gain???!!!

  • 6 lb gain???!!!

    So yesterday I weighed right before getting in the shower, no clothes or anything. Today i weighed and was 6 lbs heavier!!!! I weighed completely dressed in jeans, shoes, light hoodie and everything but can those things really weigh 6 lbs????
    I haven not cheated or anythingand im so upset and discouraged.

    Everyone's weight fluctuates on a daily basis. Drink more water and try not to dwell on it. if you are doing everything right, you should not worry because the weight will drop off again.

      Please don't get discouraged. Look at how much you have already lost. The scale can be the enemy sometimes, think of it that way and keep on keepin on to spite it.

        Clothes and shoes can easily add 6lb - be consistent!

          Thanks, I just ignored it. Instead I went to walmart and bought me some size 18 jeans (I started in a 24). They will fit great soon. Got some nice goal pants. (I can get them on and zipped but have lotsa hang over, lol.

            You could also weigh your clothes and shoes to see how much to take away from the scales numbers to get a better idea of how much you weighed that time.

              OMG I never weigh with clothes on or at any time other than first thing in the morning, AFTER I've gone to the bathroom, BEFORE I eat/drink anything. A size 20 pair of jeans weighs at least 3 or 4 lbs I'd say. Add shoes, shirts, plus anything you've been eating or drinking....Oh yeah thats good for at least 6 lbs

                You'd be amazed at how much clothes can weigh.
