Re: Lets talk about the food pyramid

I've also read that cornflakes were created to prevent masturbation!
Well, yeah! Put cornflakes in your pants and see how sexy you feel.

Good question! I stopped doing it after I made continuous crunchy noises everytime I shifted in my seat at school. I changed over to Mini-Wheats. More cushion.

Oh, no, never the frosted ones -- they leave a terrible powdery residue!

and here I was shoveling in cornflakes cause they said I'd tall up on the great corn taste

Thought you might like to see the Atkins version of the food pyramid they presented to congress when the food pyramid was being revised a few yrs ago. I think there were about 8 version from various groups with supporting documentation being considered.

Adena, if you right click on the picture, you can save it to your hard drive. I have an option that says Convert to Adobe PDF...if you have that option, you can then save it on your harddrive as a PDF to be printed.

Here's a link to other Food Pyramids:
                                http://www.pccnaturalmarkets.com/hea...ebar-Heading-5

                                Pretty interesting stuff.

The way I eat my OWL is similar to the Latin American Pyramid....except I don't eat grains, beans, tubers (potatoes), fruit and nuts with every meal. But I do have veggies with every meal, poultry daily, fish as much as I can, plant oils and milk products daily, red meats and eggs not too often.
