Hey, a great drink that's a "treat" is an Italian soda. Fill a glass with ice, pour in 1 tablespoon of your favorite sugar free syrup, fill with club soda, and top with 1-2 tablespoons of heavy cream. This is a very rare treat for me, but it's soooo good and doesn't stall me.

I know diet 7-up is now made with splenda. My husband bought some for our daughter because she loves 7-up because he drinks it on occasion and share his with her. He said we can all drink the diet. I didn't drink any because I thought it had aspertame in it. The one day I had a glass and thought I had screwed up. Then when I went to buy some more for them I actually finally read the package and it is naturally caffine free and sweetened with splenda. Now I am not sure about diet coke being sweetened with splenda but I do know it has a ton of caffine.

Glad you are back on track. I now know that once in a whle i can have diet 7 up. so I have learned somethings too, as occasionaly it is nice just to have somethig a little different.

There is a Splenda (sucralose) sweetened Diet Coke. It's clearly marked as such, and you don't see it very often.

Although they're not carbonated, Crystal Light drinks in the bottle are also made with Splenda.

Splenda makes me hungrier than Aspartame! So be wary there, too! Any artificial sweetner can fart around with your blood sugar. We've already known this to be so with aspartame and blood sugar alcohols.
