I've lost 19 pounds in two months on this second time around. My husband has lost about 28 pounds. I have not yet remeasured since the first day I started this, but my clothes tell the tale of inches lost. Blouses that I could not touch the buttons to the holes are now becoming too big. My jeans are getting looser by the day. My doctor says I will be off my blood pressure medication soon. I will then be saving $50.00 to $100.00 a month. I no longer have to plan out $20.00 a month for Pepcid AC. I save lots of money that I don't spend on needless junk foods. I think of the clothes I will be able to buy with all that money. I no longer crave any foods. I no longer have constant hunger. I have become so regular with my exercise, that I can't imagine a day without it. I no longer get winded while walking around in the house, or any distance. This problem left me within losing just a few pounds and a few days of using my treadmill and walking. I no longer think that bread and other high carbohydrate foods will stretch our food budget by making it go farther. My husband and I have complete peace of mind knowing that we are making a complete change in our lives, for our lives.

I broke 200. Smashed it into tiny pieces I did. I am well into "Onederland" by now.

I lowered my triglycerides by over 100 points. Wow! My doctor was so psyched.

I've lost a total of 17 pounds and about 9.5 total inches.

Yay!!! This is super fun. Who knows, maybe I'll be back for some more later.

Twilight, first of all, congratulations on your excellent progress. Those lower triglyceride numbers alone could add years to your life.

I just happened to notice where you're from, and it struck me funny that I'd first notice that on the day of Hallowe'en. If I'm not mistaken, isn't Targoviste the Romanian (Transylvanian) city where the original Count Dracula, "Vlad The Impaler," lived?

If so, then I remember seeing pictures of the castle as well as some of the surrounding coutryside, that were beyond beautiful. I can only imagine what it must look like in real life.

Haha, yes, very good. Targoviste is in Romania. It was the capital city in Wallachia during the rule of Vlad Tepes, Vlad "the Impaler". Vlad Drakulya.

I too have seen pictures of Targoviste, but have never been there. I hate to disappoint, but I am not from Targoviste, only my mind dwells, in its fanciful thoughts, there. I actually live in the USA, East Coast. I am just slightly obsessed with vampire, Dracula specifically.

            Happy Halloween (a little late)!

I'm totally proud of you guys and have repped everyone for your tooting!

See? Who knew tooting could be so productive? Everyone who reads this will see all the reasons they should be both proud of their own accomplishments, try Atkins, and be proud of you!

                  Re: Toot your horn!

I lost over 120lbs in 6 months time, and over 65 inches off my entire body! I went from wearing size 28/30 clothing to 14/16! I'd like to be a perfect 10 and I've still got 47lbs to goal, and the exercise has never been better. The local news did a story on my weight loss, as part of a City-Wide Weight Loss Challenge that was going on at the time. At that point, I'd only dropped 86lbs, but I've burned off another 40-50lbs since. I wish everyone much success and will power!

                        chug-ga-chug-ga toot toot....

I lost 35 pounds over the past few years (there's too many years to count going on/off/on/off).

I made it in to Onederland (finally stayed on), and I'm not going back (stretching my fingers out and holding on with my finger tips to stay on).

Although I'm 35 pounds from my goal, I'm 35 pounds from my goal instead of the 70 that I was waaaay back in the beginning over 4 years ago.
