Re: A Catfight between Ms. Bread and Ms. Protein....Guess who won!

Sounds like wonderful motivation to stick with it, Quit. It's amazing the things moms will do for their kids, even the unborn (or in this case, not yet conceived) ones. It's true, though.... smokers stop smoking over night; women who love to drink or can't live without caffiene give it up as soon as they learn they are pregnant. (Not all, of course, but many.)

Anyway... I digress. In short, glad you're back. Stay with us. Even if you slip, come here and fess up. We promise only to whip you with a wet noodle (since that's about all they are good for on this WOE) and help you back on track.

Look forward to seeing you around...

The cold has set in, so swimming is out. I am now up to about 15-20 minutes on a stationary bike every other day (from 3-5 minutes). I could probably do daily, but Dr. wants me to take breaks in between days so that I can see if I have any after effects of joint pain, swelling, etc... So far, the only issues are swelling in my right knee afterwards. A motrin helps with that. Not much in terms of getting the sweat going, but some is better than none.

Thanks for the invite to the 14-day group. Will be visiting soon.
