    Board Members MEET face to face!

    Hey everybody, just wanted to share these great pictures with the greater population. It's one of the wonderful benefits of these boards, FRIENDSHIPS! Adena and I met this morning at 7:30 at a local park not too far from our homes. It was cold (3 and crisp...Adena is training for a half marathon and I am just a big weenie who knew she could not walk fast or jog and TALK...(but I tell ya she inspired me to consider jogging with her next time!)
    So I hopped on my trusty bike! Coasted along and celebrated our good fortunes in meeting each other and having such a great relationship with this board.
    Again I just want to thank all the Administrators and Moderates who over-see, and all the GREAT MEMBERS who participate in the journey we all share with Dr Atkins' wonderful ways... So everybody, enjoy!

      Yeah there should be a convention or something...wouldn't that BE something...I wonder if people do that????

            it's just so great to meet a cyberboard friend in person! i've had the pleasure twice and missed lauren by 1/4 mile one time!

                woo hoo on the outing I hope you were spinning high RPMs whole you visited.

                there were plans being made for a big ADBB get together in the fall of 03 but it fell throught. I know many members on other support boards have get togethers but the planning is monsterous.

                    We had a great time! Jess is just as cute and enthusiastic and warm and positive and together and inspiration and just all-around super duper as she is here.

                    2big, unfortunately Jess couldn't rev up her RPMs b/c she had to keep applying her brake so she wouldn't ride circles around me as I huffed and puffed beside her! But, she left me to go climb Stone Mountain! I, on the other hand, went to Wal-Mart.

                    Thanks for being on the ball and posting these pictures so quickly, Jess -- they'd be sitting in my camera for a month!
