Hello,
I thought I'd share a little motivational trick that has worked very well for me - though I expect some of you have tried it.
I have a stack of books in my bedroom which weighs the same as the amount of weight I have lost, every week I weigh books on my food scales and add them to the stack. It's a really good visual reminder and really cheers me up if I haven't lost just to see it there. Obviously books are less dense than fat I've lost, but I'm a 'big' reader so it seemed a good choice for me. I put books I've read whilst doing Atkins in the pile so I can remember what was going on at the time. You could try it with anything though (I saw a woman on TV do it with bags of sugar - but I'm not sure if that goes with the whole ethos of Atkins
)
It is nearly a meter tall and I had to have my BF help me pick it up yesterday - I cannot believe how heavy it is!
Anyone else got any little tricks like this?
