I would like to make this announcement. I want to let you know that I am always here to listen to what you have to say. I like to get feedback as to the state of the board and really anything that one would have to say to me.
One thing I would like to note here is that I dont post much on the public forum any more and mostly stay behind the scenes. This doesnt mean that I dont care about you but I feel that we have in place people who are much better suited to handle the day to day discussions that I. I am proud of our moderating team and admins and I think they are doing a wonderful job.
This last week or so I needed to step in and make some decisions and I did so as needed and as I felt was really the only solution for this board.
I want to let you all know I am always here for people to talk with if they want things change. However I am asking for the following:
1) PM me ... dont post publically and I will work on your issues. It is often better to disccuss issues directly with me ... or even a mod or admin of your choice. I think this is the right thing to do as sometimes public critisism can cause some mal-intent with others. If brought to my attention I will work on it or try to deal with it in the best way I can.
2) PM me with a list of ACTIONS / SOLUTIONS ... these need to be something that can easily be acted on and need to be very objective ... not something like ... " get the admins to do more work" or " make sure people are nicer on the board"
and example would be :
"Create a forum that communicates TOS violations and other major Moderator activity"
I get lots of emails with complaints ... but I think that many of you dont know about what goes on behind the scenes and all of the work that is needed to keep this board running relatively smoothly for a long period of time.
We are trying to make this the best diet board on the web. I think we are very open to suggestions and I try to run this in a democratic way. All suggestions are looked into.
I think we are more of a community that other large boards that are there as money makers.
I think we have more information than the smaller boards ...
Actually I think we have the best of both worlds with a small board feel with all of the info etc of a big board.
Well that is really all I wanted to say ... I would love to hear from all of you ...
and as promised all solutions / actions that are sent to me ( remember be objective ) will be looked into

...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."
