  • Chocolate Tea

I know a few months ago someone had discovered a chocolate tea that I think in the end wasn't legal. Has anyone since then found a legal chocolate flavored tea? I am looking for something to drink when the others are having their instant hot chocolate.

Can you just put a little bit of extract in your tea? Or sugar free Divinci flavored syrup!!! I love the carmel flavored in my coffee - mmmmm just as good as starbucks!

You know I had not even though of that, I use the vanilla in my coffee. Have never tried the chocolate since it is not available at Walmart. I guess I will have to try ordering it off of the web.

A small amount of Cocoa in your teacup might be similar, with sweetener of course.
or sf chocolate shavings, stirred in your tea.
I sometimes love a vanilla tea, but have gone off of it lately - not really drinking tea anymore. But adding vanilla beans to the tea in your teapot while you brew is to die for

            Re: Chocolate Tea

Have you ever heard of "Chocolate mint"? It is an actual herb...a mint leaf that you can grow in your yard. When you break it off and/or chew it, it smells and taste like chocolate. A family member has it growning in her yard...it grows crazy though, so you may want to grow it in a container if you ever bother to do so...
I would boil it in water or dry out the leaves and seep it in a sterling silver tea ball.

A link to a website that you can order it from. Maybe your local nursery sells it too.

Lipton's makes amazing flavoured teas, I have the caramel twist and biscotti, both just flavoured and not sweetened so no extra carbs.

Chai tea is also really nice for a treat...

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, will have to order the chocolate syrup. That biscotti flavored tea sounds good also, haven't seen that at Walmart either, will have to look at other stores in the area.

                    Re: Chocolate Tea

Try a coffee distributor or coffee shop for your syrups (obviously, specify SF). Local ones here are willing to sell you a bottle.

Do you have a marshalls in your area or TJ Maxx or similar store? When I was in buffalo i got my davinci syrups at Marshalls, but also saw them in tj maxx.

I do have a Marshalls right up the road but I have never seen any syrups other than the SF Vanilla or SF Hazelnut there. TJMaxx is about a 30 minute ride, I have never been there.
