"died mysteriously" ???? (cue spooky music)

LMAO! What's so 'mysterious' about falling on an icy sidewalk, and hitting his head so hard that he died of head trauma complications? His death is less 'mysterious' than the spy who was poisoned with Polonium-laced sushi a couple of weeks ago.

        Honestly!

Actually I think the 'mysteriously' bit was added by whoever writes the description of the programmes, as it was hardly touched on - just a brief mention of the articles put out when the autopsy was 'mysteriously leaked'.
There was a comment by someone about how a litre of IV fluids would weigh about 2 pounds (I think) so he would have to have been pumped with an enormous amount of fluids while in the coma to have gained so much weight then. It sort of appeared like a veiled suggestion that it had been done to him to debunk his credibility but wasnt mentioned again.

Dr Robert someone (an excolleague of Dr A) did say that a month before his accident Dr A was fit and healthy and a normal weight.

On the whole it seemed a fairly thorough biography from what I already know of Dr Atkins life, and though it did have some nutritionist rubbishing the Atkins WOE throughout, it did make mention of how Dr Atkins revised his views after treating patients in the years after DADR which were written into DANDR and included many followers of the WOE giving their experiences and telling of lower 'bad' cholesterol and higher 'good' cholesterol blood reports.

Ok, I am in the US, so I am out on this one, but....
Elizellen.....You are one of my new role models!!!!!!!!!!!! May I trouble you with questions sometime?
            Jane....still gorgeous
Richt....you too, great job! It stil amazes me how people accomplish so much with this.
Meg....is that really how he died? I always tried to find out and never knew. All of the tv reports I heard tried to make it sound like heart disease, but would stop short of saying that it absolutely was. As Elizellen said...it sounded like people were collectively stooping so low as to set up an untrue situation to discredit him after his death. It only made me more interested, because I have no respect for the media anyway.

Ok, I am off to find out what a weigh no way challenge is
