Lately I have been noticing that I have been somewhat dizzy,a little nausea and hyper and sometimes even a little shakey. I am REALLY thirsty and mouth is DRY! Is this symptoms of ketosis or should I worry?

Re: Is this normal?!?!
When I'm in ketosis I always have a dry mouth and am thirsty pretty much. Before I started back to low carbing I would experience the res of your symptoms, but that's from blood sugar imbalances according to the book. Are you spacing out your veggies, being sure to eat a balanced meal with fats at least once every 6 hours, and getting your water?Restarting Date: December 9 = SW214/CW206/LW195/GW130 YELL AT ME IF I STOP FITDAY-ING

Re: Is this normal?!?!
Are you eating enough carbs? The nausea, dizzyness, and shakey usually comes to me if my bloodsugar drops. If I get these symptoms, it normallly means I'm not eating enough carbs to keep stabilized.Originally posted by shericeLately I have been noticing that I have been somewhat dizzy,a little nausea and hyper and sometimes even a little shakey. I get really thristy when I drink a lot of water. It seems the more I drink, the more my body wants. I hear this quite often from others who are also drinking a lot of water. And I do tend to get dry mouthed.
If these symptoms persist, then checking with your Dr. can't hurt. Chances are it's nothing to worry about, but when it doubt..give the Dr. a call.
