Many of you are complaining of Server Busy messages or very slow opening of pages. We are aware of the problem and it is being looked into. Mondays in January are the busiest time here at ADBB, please dont get discouraged.

Here's a tip:
If you're writing a long post .. hit (COPY AND SAVE IT) because if you go to post and get the "SERVER BUSY" response, you lose what you just wrote ...

Yep - I learned that the hard way after writing a multi-page spill-your-guts page last week, and it vanished when I tried to post it.
That is devastating, to say the least! 
I's kind of hard to remember to do this, however - I lost a couple today before realizing the server was having more trouble than ever today. ((Must mean there's gonna be a flood of Newbies here, wishing to loose their holiday indulgences!! YAY!))
A reliable alternative is to keep a draft Outlook email Word (or similar) document going to scribble posts on (you can include images too if html supported), then copy selections from there to your post window. This has an added benefit of making your message content reusable!~Susan

I love being in Europe! Until the Americans/Canadians start to wake up I never have any problems with the server being busy. Of course I am forced to talk to myself. I guess there is a down side to everything.
