Alright, where to begin. I've got Kalluri Vaanil on repeat, and it's making me not think straight, I love this song so much....
But, I digress...
Back in Feb, when I started, I was a 38-40 waist. 5'6, 255 pounds...
In July, I was a size 32 waist, 5'6 still, 175 pounds.
Some things happened, and right now, I jumped up a bit. I'd go over all that in detail, but I'm not sure who's really interested. It had a lot to do with a girl, if it helps any.
Well, currently, I am in a 33 waist, but hovering around 200. Here is where the question comes in.
I'm back on track, already started again, but I'm pretty close to where I wanted to be, so I don't know how to go about setting a new goal. As is, I want to get down to 150, because it's where I'm supposed to be (according to all those growth charts I see everywhere. Actually, on one, I'm supposed to be anywhere between 120-150)
Now, for comparison, my friend Richard is a marine, good build, 168 pounds. Maybe 1% bodyfat. So, if I'm lucky, I should shoot for somewhere around there. But, here is another question.
I'd like to get my waist to a 30, but I don't know if I have the bone structure necessary for something like that. How can I tell?
Also, my family has it's fair share of heavier set people. Not heavy, but meaty. If I reach my goal, I'm afraid they may try to send me away for obsessive dieting, as I'm always talking about it, and how I have this desire for a body type that is probably not within my reach, genetically speaking. And if I do reach it, I'm afraid they may thing I'm achieving my goals in an unhealthy manner...
I know what I want. I know how to go about getting there. I know how I want things to turn out. What I don't know is if my goals are unreasonable.
I'm too indecisive to figure it out for myself. Someone give me an answer, please?
