  • Hey All.........i'm Back!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ok, I just logged in and was SHOCKED to see the last time I was here was on July 24th.........totally blown away.

    I've missed you guys.

    Been staying on track..........not really loosing, but not gaining really, just a few lbs here and there.

    I did gain a few over Christmas eating those nasty sugar free russel stovers chocolates.
    They helped me get thru parties and gatherings, so gaining a few wasnt such a big deal........mostly water instake I think.

    Ok, now I am back and ready to kick start myself onto the loosing wagon.
    I am heading back to Florida at the end of April and how vowed to take another 20lbs off by than.Been working out 3-4 days a week on my bike and elliptical.Adding a few more minutes each time.Am upto 15min on elliptical and 10 on the bike.Hoping to round it off to an even 30minutes.Is this enough 4 times a week?I really want to get this weight going.

    Anyway, I have cut out the Russells and the scoop of peanut butter here and there,but kept a few nuts a couple times a week and some strawberries once or twice a week.......this is ok right?

    I just am so happy to be back, and even thou by the looks of it, theres more new members than old........hopefully someone will remember me( I started that old Tuesday weight in thread.......way back), but even if ya dont........doesnt matter cos hopefully I will meet all the new ones and make some new friends.

        Welcome back Diva! Good for you for cutting out those Russell Stovers, they have been a welcome to me while the family has been eating at their christmas candy but it is time for me to pitch them also! Here's to 2007, a new year and a clean slate!

            I remember you and the thread!! Was thinking the other day about starting a new one!

            Good to see you making the right choice and coming back! I went to Florida last year (pic in my siggy is from Typhoon Lagoon!) and it was the best holiday I've ever had!

            Did Atkins on and off from Feb 2005 until April 2008. Fluctuated between 15 st 1/211lbs and 11 st 1/155lbs.
            On different weightloss programme from 28th May 2008 start weight 14 st 11/207lbs.
            Current weight 10st 3lbs/143lbs.
            Ultimate Goal Weight 9 st/126lbs.

                Hey all...............I need some assistance thou. I have been eating properly and working out 4 days a week.......now that in itself is an accomplishment, but the weight isnt coming off very quickly.I havent weighed myself yet this morning, but I am pretty sure I am somewhere around 202-204lbs, and thats very discouraging.Is there some way I can kick start this again?ITs almost like my body has grown accustomed to this wol and doesnt want to loose anymore.I have really only managed to loose and keep off about 13-15lbs and I started last year.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Good luck everyone this week.

                  I would say to really watch your amounts of carbs, processed & resturant foods.

                  And keep an eye on your problem foods. People say not to weigh but I have to weigh every day and that is how I know if a food was a problem for me. I can not have onions or tomatoes or the scales will jump up and I can not have a whole lot of nuts. I Even have to watch the amount of zero carb mayo and salad dressing I have. Oh...and I can not have any of those sweetener packets either.

                  But just keep trying. I know that I have kept with the program even when the scales did not want to budge and then all of a sudden I will have a loss of a couple of pounds overnight.

                    Maybe going back on induction for a week or so might get you kickstarted - no nuts or strawberries - just to let your body know you are serious?!?

                    Perhaps post a sample menu on the 'Review my Menu' forum too for some input?
                    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
                    Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
