How many carbs?

In my Atkins carb counting little book it says 1 fried egg is 0.1 carbs, fitday says an egg is 1.83. Does anyone know if the carbs in "dr. atkins new carb gram counter" is counting carbs or net carbs?

How many carbs do you all count for an egg?

Its usually safe practice to count an egg as 1 carb. HTH

thankyou very much, but why does dr atikins book say its 0.1, isnt that different than 1.0?

Hmm...and I've always thought it was .6. At least that rounds to 1.

Fitday shows 1 large egg is .6 g's for me? Not sure where you are seeing 1.83



Are you using 'scrambled eggs' or something else that has added ingredients?

It depends on the size of the egg. And I also know that fitday gives different values for, say, a raw egg versus a boiled egg.
