    Hi,

The shakes are not allowed during induction. With the meats you might want to try making different sorts of recipes with the meats you think you do not like. With the meats you do eat you are fine though!

Humm, snacks. Like snacks you can take to work? I would say hardboiled eggs, deviled eggs, mozz cheese sticks, peperonni, salmai, cheese blocks with a mustard dip, cream cheese in cellery sticks, rolled up slices of ham/gouda cheese, pork rinds, avocado(half if on induction). A lot of times I "snack" on leftovers like a hamburger, some chicken salad, some salad with cooked chicken and dressing, etc.

The foggy head will go away. Keep drinking your water, getting enough rest, and eating your three cups of veggies. Also I would start off light on exercise at first. Induction flu is difficult enough.

On Atkins induction we are aiming at a proportion of fat/protein/carbs of 65%/30%/5% which the shakes will not achieve without you adding fat and carbs to them as far as I know, so stick to 'real food' from the induction allowed list in DANDR

Maggie has given you some great suggestions for snacks and there are many more around the board and in the cooking forums.

Hang in there and drink your water and before too long that fog should clear !
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
