Hi all, I need some feedback. >.< I am extremely frustrated right now, and could use some critical feedback on whats going on. I have been fighting these last three lbs since last October of 2006. I think that definately counts as a stall!
I honestly considered accepting my weight at 133 and calling it good, but I just can't do it. I have some very noticeable pudge on my stomach and thighs, and I have worked too long and hard to give up on it. I KNOW I can lose the weight, it's not a perminate feature of me. I know if I ate a carrot stick and a tomato a day for many weeks that fat would be gone...that brazilian girl died on this diet, but she didn't have a fat tummy, that was for sure.
Obviously I don't plan on going on that diet and want to lose the weight in a healthy manner, keep it off, and I know it can be done. It's *getting there* that is the problem. I don't have trouble with self control, if I knew what to do I would do it. It's just I don't know what to do.
Heres an idea of what I am doing, that I have been doing for the last month, with no loss:
Excersize: One hour of vigerous stretching in the morning (at work at my desk is in the corner, and while I have to stay there and work, I remain standing, and inbetween phone calls I do belly dancing moves as discreetly as possible, its better then sitting on my buns for that time).
My main excersize is 35 minutes of speed walking, 5 days a week. I also run up and down 5 flights of stairs. My legs other then my inner thighs look REALLY nice.
Diet: Atkins, obviously.
I try to vary my diet carb and calorie wise so my body doesnt get used to it. I usually have about 35 -25 veggie carbs and 1,200 - 1,300 calories. I have gone to 1,500 calories, but didn't lose on either. I don't dare go higher then that, or I start gaining. This last three days I have kept my carbs at 25 and my calories at 1,000 or 1,100 to see what happened...NADA. Bah.
Typical menu:
B: two eggs, two bacon
or: two eggs, 1 cup cottage cheese, lowfat
or: two egg scramble, w one oz cheese, veggies
L: two cups salad, w 4 cherry tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, ranch.
or: cup of raw broccoli w 2 tblspn ranch and 3-4 oz turkey or chicken
or: turkey salad or steak salad with all of above at subway on occasion
D: 4 oz tuna with two tblespoon mayo, tblspoon relish and two celery stalks
or: one cup salad w lunch veggies/ranch, one serving shirtaki w LC ragu sauce
Dinner is usually some kind of meat and side salad.
Any thoughts? I am fresh out. >.<
