As I was sitting here doing my fitday report for the day I noticed I went over my carb count with cabbage. I stopped eating the cabbage right away , I had maybe 1 1/2 cups. My question is, how bad is a slip up on carbs by 4-5 grams if the food isnt a cheat food? What is the consequences?

Re: Slip up..
Honestly, don't sweat it. IMO no one ever got fat eating healthy vegetables, and cabbage is a very low carb count veggie. I love cabbage and eat 2 cups or more at one sitting all the time on the Ongoing Weight Loss phase.
I think you should move into OWL as soon as you're done with induction, cincy. That way, you can have more healthy veggies and still continue on plan and not be worried about that being a cheat. If you are already done with induction, call today day 1 of Ongoing weight loss rung 1 and just keep going.~Joy

Re: Slip up..
I agree. Don't sweat the cabbage.
People don't get fat/unhealthy off 1-1/2 cups of cabbage.
To your body, it's the big picture that's important, rather than something so minor.
P.S. And oh my goodness, I love cabbage. No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

Vigilance, not perfection.

Re: Slip up..
Thanks, I beleive I made it thru induction quite easily, but I really wasnt sure about moving on to the next rung. Maybe I should. I was hoping to have more of a weight loss than 4 lbs from induction, but I am really satisfied with the results.

Re: Slip up..
Go ahead and move up. I really don't think that staying in induction is going to make that much of a difference. A lot of people who move up find that they do even better than they did on induction. Maybe that will happen for you too.~Joy
