Ok....it is the TOM and I was very crazed and needed some chocolate. I had a few pieces, felt better, and left it right there. The next things I ate were all legal....I was surpirsed since I thought the chocolate would have tasted amazing since I haven't had any in over a month, but it was just OK. Kind of disappointing. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I am not going to gain back all the weight I lost due to this indiscretion, will I?

I feel the same way and it's only during TOM. I don't care how well I have been doing on Atkins a few days before TOM, my cravings are horrible. I will make my husband go get me a Hershey bar! I have tried going for a walk, drinking a lot of water but it just doesn't help during that time. I did try the sugar free chocolate and lets just say that I had more than one piece and paid for it all night!!! Gross!

Why not try making chocolate mousse or having a bit of cream cheese and splenda instead? Sorry Julie...there are certain times when nothing but REAL CHOCOLATE will do. I made some kind of recipe with cream cheese and splenda and cocoa powder and cream.....YUCK> It gave me nightmares.SWIMR4

I do agree on what you said. B4 Xmas I had some chocolate hobnobs, expecting them to taste amazing and they really didnt. I was totally disappointed and gave the rest of the packet away.

Did Atkins on and off from Feb 2005 until April 2008. Fluctuated between 15 st 1/211lbs and 11 st 1/155lbs.
On different weightloss programme from 28th May 2008 start weight 14 st 11/207lbs.

Strange how we remember carby things as tasting wonderful, and when we get to try them again they're disappointing. I guess eating more healthy foods gives us a new set of "taste priorities". Gotta love Atkins!Before and after:
