HI everyone, ok i have a question about spaghetti squash, is it possible to get cravings from a vegetable, the only reason i ask that is because i had some really bad cravings monday and gave into them and sunday night i had spaghetti squash for the first time, and then i had some more today and a little after eating it i was feeling like i could just eat, not really hungry just wanting to eat so now im trying to figure out could that be the culprit, the only thing i put in it was butter, parmesan cheese, and salt and pepper which i have had all those before just not the squash.

    Re: cravings question

It sure is! I know there's someone on here who gets cravings after eating celery!

Ahh, the magic of OWL. If the squash is the culprit, now you know a food to eat in moderation, or to avoid!

        Re: cravings question

Yes, it's possible to get cravings from a vegetable. We've had members who have had craving problems from broccoli, celery, tomatoes, and onions. I have problems with any dish made from eggplant and tomatoes.

We're all individuals so our bodies react individually.

Look at this in a positive way: you learned something about your body and that will help you to continue losing weight and help you maintain your goal weight.

It sure is possible! I get cravings from broccoli - cooked, not raw.

what I would do is not eat it for a week then try it again if you get cravings you will know for sure it is a trigger..I never trust the first time ..it could be anything that triggered you including hormones or the weather or life ....so give it another shot but wait a week ...
