  • 35 pounds = 3 months?

Is this even possible? I did a bit of calculating .. I hope you don't mind me using kilograms, cause it's harder to count if I use punds. So, I weigh 66 kg (+/-) and I want to lose 16 kg. I'd be 50 kg then, however my ideal weight would be 48 kg. Should I put 48 as a goal weight? Because I don't want to be more than 50 & I know that I can gain some more weight during some periods of the diet. Anyway, I'm treating my organism now and I'm going to re-start all the diet from the 16th of February. Induction should end at the 1st of March. Should I stay on the Induction for a longer time? I dunno how much will I lose, however I'm counting with 5 kg. Is this possible if I don't have really much to lose? So, If I'm about 60 kg when the March starts - I still have 10 kg to lose, and, I have three months left till the Summer starts. I'm not sure, but I'd say that I have an average metabolic resistance. I know how hard it's to lose the weight when you don't have much to lose. Still, can I lose those 10 (or a bit more) kg in three months? Or maybe 2 are enough too. Yes, I know it's different for each person ..
Could anybody please give an opinion? Am I considering right or too much theoretically? How much time would it take normally to lose 16 kg (or 35 pounds)? I'm going to drink A LOT of water although it's hard for me and I'm going to exercise although I'm not athletic at all.

i am cautious in telling people or seeing people put too much into losing a certain amount of weight by a certain time. you answered your own question when you stated you knew that everyone was differernt. the way we lose, the areas in which we lose, the amount of effert put into it, the exercise and all that goes with it are going to determine your success.

i would say start now, don't wait till the 16th, get busy with the exercise and see where you end up.

as for the goal weight, make it something you can maintain and feel good at. don't let the goal weight of another person or other things determine what your ideal weight should be.

      Owww, thank you jimmie!
No, I've put the goal weight myself, however it can change if I see that I look & feel good with a higher weight. All I want is to feel good with the weight I have. Oh, and what exercises should I do? I don't want to build any huge muscles, also I don't want to be 'flabby'. I haven't even reached the goal yet, but I'm worried about my after appearance already. I just don't know how much exercises should I do to keep my body in a good-looking form ..

mistics, i am certainly not the exericise know it all but it seems to me, and it's what i understand to be true, that you need to be exerciseing about 5 times a week for at least 30 minutes to get yourself in shape and then 2 to 3 times a week to maintain.

your a girl so you aren't going to bulk up like a guy. trust me, you won't look like a muscle man.
what would i recommend? do something you will enjoy, first of all. if you hate the exercise, you won't do it. join a challenge. the challenges are great for keeping you motivated.
get some different sized dumbbells. i am fining those to be very beneficial.

do you have stairs at your home or at work? join the pledging flights challenge. i swear, i've been kicking my flights into over time and i can certaintly tell it.
check out the exercise of the day that outback jess posts each week day. it's in the exercise forum. this will give you some options and a variety. you'll be certain to find some things that will interest you.
