I've seen this "word" in lots and lots of posts. I'm completely clueless as to its meaning. "&amp"

I didnt know where to post this so I figured I would do it in the main place. And I keep forgetting to ask after i see it but forget about it. I remembered this time cuz I saw it repeatedly in the Diabetic Forum.

Anyway, someone, I pray thee, do enlighten me.

junk leftover from before the vbulletin software was put into use.... i think. some of the symbols and smilies etc. didn't make the move as smoothly as other things.... i think.
