I was wondering, when you enter chicken wings into fitday, is 1 Chicken wing considered the 2 small pieces we get in the restaurant? A wing is normally what they call the drummettes and the wing, but is actually just one pc, just cut up at restaurants to count as 2. How do I enter this, cos theres no way theres over 100calories in 1 small drummette.

Re: Fitday Question
I've asked this myself, didn't get a very good response, but through some investigation I've found that 1 piece in Fitday, if you put it in as Chicken Wing with hot sauce, equates to a piece in an order from a restaurant (1/2 a full wing).
I think 8 pieces on fitday come out to about 588 calories. A typical order of 10 in a restaurant is usually around 800 calories. So it seems that 1 piece equals 1 piece.
So yes, there really is about 75 calories or so per drumette. Remember, meat, skin, and frying oil.Higgies

Re: Fitday Question
There is a brand of frozen buffalo wings here, that are about the size of a wing that you get in a bar. There are approx 200 cals in 100 g's, which is about 2 to 3 wings...so yeah, they are quite high in calories, and as higgies has said, probably about 75 calories each.Jen, 39, F

Re: Fitday Question
Wow, so how many pcs does the average person eat here? I am trying to lower my caloric intake, but unless I start eating lean cuts of meat, which of course would greatly lower my fat intake, how would I still be on atkins?WEIGHT TRACKER

Re: Fitday Question
Typical order is like 8-12 pieces...don't worry too much about your caloric intake if you are on induction. It'll take care of itself.
I just try to limit myself to wings once or twice a week. Alternating my high calore days and lower calorie days, you'll be fine...Higgies
