  • Gaining Weight

    Okay this isn't for me, but for a friend. Hes like overly skinny and is 6'4'' - 160 lbs. he wants to put on muscle and fat but doesn't know how. He has a fast metabolism.

    What should he do?

    Current Weight:175lbs. :)
    Goal Weight:140lbs. :D

    Starting Weight - 175lbs - MET
    1st Goal Wieght - 165lbs.
    2nd Goal Wieght - 160lbs.
    3rd Goal Wieght - 155lbs.
    4rd Goal Weight - 150lbs.
    5th Goal Weight - 145lbs.
    6th Goal Weight - 140lbs.

    There are alot of protein shakes on the market that can help him add weight and muscle.

    GNC carries alot of them

    Also a weight training regiment will be need to add muscle. I wouldnt do much cardio if he is looking to put on weight

      I agree with Forest. And tell him to check out a weight lifting forum, they should have all kinds of good tips for gaining weight.

          The only way my husband can keep his weight up is thiw weightlifing and protein. He is currently 5'9" and 200 lbs (a muscular 200) but would be much thinner if he didn't work out. when he doesn't go to the gym for a length of time it's amazing how much weight he loses. I, of course, have the opposite problem LOL.
