big plans
hi all!
please bear with me as this might be lengthy. i was on an atkins BB several years ago and can't find it again so perhaps this is the same one, just a different look. i am NOT a tech wizard so all the little gadgets and gizmos that look so cool are pretty overwhelming to me! i could use all the help in that dept. there is.
well....long story short. four years ago last christmas my now ex waked out .two weeks after that my mother passed away. due to stress i started losing weight. when it stabalized, i started using the atkins techniques i had used before and all total, lost almost 70 pounds.
a year ago i met my prince..and he is a prince.
i would not trade him for anything. we are getting married this june. in my happy state i got lazy and put on about 25 pounds.
needless to say, i want to drop these for my wedding. i do not believe in quick fixes. i did it the hard way before! but i have 4 months to lose that 25 pounds. with all i went thru and my dream day and life before me, i want to feel and look my very best.
i started induction today. last time i did, i did experience ketosis but it did not seem consistant. perhaps the sticks were too old. does anyone know if that makes a difference? also is there a best time of the day to check? i have the book. it is dogearred but i am re-reading it again today. the page of "foods allowed" is copied and on the fridge. i exercise 3-4 days a week....drink the water....please keep your fingers crossed for me. it matters not to him at all but i want to look and feel like the woman he met and fell in love with. i am doing this for ME. i want to feel fabulous in my fabulous new life....
i would truly appreciate any and all pointers from the pros!
