I am in the induction phase - First five days, I was visiting the bathroom quite frequently.. seems the food was going right through me.. Now days 6 and 7 I have been constipated... wondering why this may be?

Hi ... most people seem to experience changes in regularity at first - after all - you have probably changed the way you eat dramatically. It takes time for your body to adjust to all these changes. Fibre is important and if you find you need help to get things moving try Flax meal or psyillium husks . Most importantly is that you drink enough water ..at least 64oz per day -

I'd second water and fibre.
Once your body gets used to the changes, you'll be fine.Before and after:

I went thru that myself, now when I find I am getting constipated, I et a half cup of low carb icecream, it gets me going in no time...lol..thank God it dont happen often. I think its the sugar alcohols in it that works.
