Hi, Does anyone have any ideas for breakfast on induction aside from bacon or eggs or bacon and eggs..
I handle all the other meals fine, but breakfast always tends to be bacon for me.Cant think of anything else thats edible for breakfast.

    Re: Breakfast

Omelets are good, use broccoli, left over steak, yummmy!Quiche is another favorite, some pretty cool recipes here...

Just remember that the ones marked with (*) are legal for induction.

There are some rather odd ones....but once you get by the thought, they are pretty dang good! (Mock french toast, using pork rinds.....weird, but so is life sometimes haha)

    Good Luck!

        Re: Breakfast

A lot of times I eat dinner leftovers for breakfast. I have never been very fond of the traditional breakfast foods. I do like a slice of quiche in the mornings. I make one every week and freeze it in servings. Very easy and yummy.

            Re: Breakfast

Also, don't forget that the SKY IS THE LIMIT when it comes to breakfast - you should never feel obligated to eat only typical breakfast foods. I for one cannot tolerate eggs in and of themselves (they have to be in a recipe) and can count on one hand how many times in the last several years I've had the bacon-and-eggs breakfast, so I opt to have whatever I am in the mood for.

However, on cruises, for some reason I always crave a nice big fat omelet and extra-crispy bacon with ice water every morning. It's on my mind because I've one coming up this month!

              Re: Breakfast

I had an omlet with American Cheese, Pepperoni, and Italian Sausage in it this morning with my decaf. It rocked! Great advice is breakfast foods aren't the only thing for breakfast, last week I had green beans and bacon, or a bratworst/Italian Sausage with mustard. Just mind the labels and enjoy. That might be a fun post..."what did you have for breakfast today" I think I will post it now.

                Re: Breakfast

I eat leftovers from dinner or lunch for breakfast. Taco salad is the favorite breakfast food of one ADBB member, Brook. Someone else (can't remember who) loved to eat pork chops for breakfast.

So as Sheila said, eat whatever's legal. Breakfast doesn't have to be bacon and eggs. This morning I had chicken soup!
