I seem to be losing by the way my clothes fit but I've yet to see my scale move much.....could my decaf coffee with very little maybe 3 tbls of cappicunio from the store machine be causing this ? Can't give up my coffee...just can't.

Re: Seem to be losing
One bit of advice, don't just rely on the scales. The scale can be evil. The best judge about your weight loss is your clothes to be honest.

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Re: Seem to be losing
I am the same way, I went from not wearing a belt, to wearing a belt. Now I am on the 4 notch of the belt. I think it time to drop a size in my jeans. When I weigh myself it does not seem like I am losing..Although in the past few days I think I have lost another 4 pounds, so who knows???Originally posted by Karen4359I seem to be losing by the way my clothes fit but I've yet to see my scale move much.....could my decaf coffee with very little maybe 3 tbls of cappicunio from the store machine be causing this ? Re: Seem to be losing
Hmmm, I am wondering how far along you are?? Afetr Induction and for the nxt few weeks for some, and especially me, I stop losing or lose very minimal...bt my inches FALL off. Your body just needs some time to adjust to all of your loses thus far.
Take some measurements and check them once a month....you'll be VERY suprised at what you find, especially when the scales dont tell you. For me, my clothes, the scale, and my measurements are what keep me in line. If I am not losing anywhere, I know it's time to take a good hard look at my diet re-adjust if necessary.
I would maybe find other ways to help measure my success that way one one isn't so great, another keeps you motivated.
Hope this helps!!*Dieting makes you look good with your clothes on...exercise make you look good with them off.*

Re: Seem to be losing
my husband is having the same difficulty...he is losing...but not according to mr. scale...you can sure tell in his tummy and his pants...I am sure having to work hard to keep this man motivated...lol
I used to go thru periods when I would lose lbs for a while then inchs...this go round it has been more lbs than inchs...but I think I am getting onto the inch train because my pants have started getting loose in the legs and waist...
Keep up the good work...it is paying off...even if the scale doesn't say so
