    Re: Fat Fast

Just be careful when you start eating regular foods again. I did it for a few days, lost 8 lbs or so but gained it all back and then some when I went back to regular induction...

Also, if you do a search you will see there have been lots of threads about this subject...

    Good luck!

      Re: Fat Fast

I don't meant to be a downer, but every time I've heard someone talk about the fat fast they did exactly what adreliluc said - gained it all back plus some.

      Just be careful!

        Re: Fat Fast

The fat fast can be dangerous if you're NOT metabolically resistant. Are you re-starting atkins? Have your losses been "slow" and you're hoping to speed them up? The fat fast is not for you, then. The fat fast is only for those who cannot get into ketosis by eating an induction menu and need something more "severe" to help their bodies along.

          Re: Fat Fast

I'd strongly ditto what Juli says. Beware the fat fast if you're not very metabolically resistent... it can be harmful to your health and you might even end up with a gain rather than a loss.
Mandy... sounds good to me if you're aiming to end it today... or even yesterday!
Look after yourself. If you do Atkins as it's supposed to be done, then, never fear, Atkins will look after your weight loss.
