    hi all! well.....slow but sure. i guess i am the turtle but hey, the turtle won the race, right? this weekend i met my FIRST GOAL! i wanted to make it to 180 before i posted my loss and i did! well, i wanted to be 175 by 3/23 for my trip to san francisco but....the road to success is sometimes kinda curvey.

    i peeked at the measuring tape this weekend and i am down 1.5 inches in my waist! yeah! i did not want to officially measure til the one month mark so i will do that on the 30th and report.

    many successes can not be measured with the scale or the tape measure,,,for instance, my honey and i went to the movie this weekend and i said NO TO POPCORN...guess what! it did not kill me. i knew i would feel awful if i ate it (physically) and that was enough for me. i am really pumping the water which is good all the way 'round. the puffiness in my face is lessening (i have a copy of our christmas card on my desk), i just FEEL better.

    thanks to all of you for your support and all the great posts. you are ALL successes and so inspiring! special thanks and hugs to (((((jess))))...you are, as my kids would say "the bomb." thank you, thank you, thank you! i really do hope that someday i will be a much of a motivation to others as you all are to me!!! have a great rest of your monday and i'll check in in 5!!! 175 here i come!!!

    Congratulations on getting to your first goal! Awesome! And more congratulations on passing up on the popcorn! You're definitely moving in the right direction... straight towards your target weight!
