  • My body is heading south!!

Hi, I have only lost 13 pounds and already i am seeing changes in my body, but not all good, everything seems to be heading south lol.
I have been overweight since i was a child and now i am 45 and although i am grateful for the weight loss and that my health is getting better, i cant help being concerned about the skin that i will probably end up with i lose all my weight.I am not in the position to pay for surgery and scared silly about doing that anyway, but is there anything i can do aside from drink loads of water to stop the inevitable from happening.
I dont want a perfect body, but i have spent most of my life hating the one i have and would hate to end up slim but still hating the way my body looks.

My endocrinoligist told me the other day, that I am loosing so slowly that she dont think it will be an issue. I still find that hard to beleive, but I am hopeful. I am 43 and have been large all my life.

Exercise and water are the best ways to avoid loose skin. We're all different the way we shrink, so it's hard to know how you'll be at goal. But... if you exercise and hydrate, then you're helping your body as much as you can.

Even if you do have some loose skin at the end of the day, and are not as happy as you would've liked, remember you'll still be so much healthier... and that, surely is the most important thing.
