  • Hey! I am starting a thread-highlighting my favorite quote of the week!

Hey guys and gals! "TIP" here. One of you here on the board nick-named me "TIP"...an obvious acronym for Thin Is Possible! So that's what I am going to call my weekly thread..."TIPS Favorite Quote of the week." (Whomever lovingly named me "TIP" please step forward and identify yourself and take your credit due. I seem to think it was Scooter Jam or Jimmie, not sure though.)

Anyhow, so why would I want to do such a thing? Well, I am an avid collector of quotes. Don't know why, but I am inspired and motivated by them. I have a whole plethora of them hanging around my house. So I came up with the idea...why not share with my friends here on the board!! If your interested check in, read 'em, and comment on what you think. Sometimes they might be serious, sometimes funny, sometimes maybe a piece of Scripture that has helped me during the week. I will try and post a new one each Monday. I hope you'll enjoy and that I might be a blessing to each of you through this new weekly thread. It would be most pleasing to me if I am able to give back to all of you here on the board, as much as you have given to me.

So...here is "TIPS's" Favorite Quote for the week of 3/26/07:
    Drum role please......... .........

"Those who do not find time for exercise will have to find time for illness!"

"A year/month/week/day from now you may wish you had started today" ...

I have read this and similar in a few places and feel it is sooooo true!

How many times have we all stalled the beginnings of our 'healthy eating plans'.
I often think..gawddd....'If only I had started this.......ago...' I wouldn't have spent my 20's and now my early 30's obsessing over my weight!
