There are lots of online calorie/carb counting and fitness journals out there. Which one do you use? What do you like about it and what do you not like about it? What features do you wish it had?
I have not found one that is perfect for Atkins, but there are many good ones.
The one I use is my-calorie-counter.com The thing I like about it, is it seems to have more selections in the menu to choose from, even many name brands. I also like that on the custom membership (extra upcharge) it has lots of charts and graphs. It will calculate the percentage of fat/protein/carb calories, etc. You can also add customized food options, and it keeps a list on the journal page of your most recent food choices. I also like that you input it by meal of the day, breakfast, lunch, snack, or dinner. It also tracks your water intake and exercise.
Dislikes, there is no way to share your online journal with others (like fitday). You have to be a member of my-calorie-counter.com in order to have access. No quite as user friendly from that aspect.
I also found the USDA site useful to find out nutritional value, whenever there is a dispute on various sites as to the actual counts. www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/
