        Re: How many Calories...

1 week minimum, but that would mean you could only add 2 new foods per week. It is recommended on here that you stay at least 2 weeks. I stayed on some rungs for months...

Oh, I have eaten Cauliflower, Spinach, ummm, pecans, and strawberries, but I have only eaten these things a couple of times, not daily. Nuts scare me anyways.

The 3rd week I tried different veggies, the 4th I tried more dairy, the 5th I tried nuts and seeds, and the 6th I tried strawberries. I thought that was okay??? I didn't eat any of these daily.

              Re: How many Calories...

It's a good idea to hang out on each rung for a while and really expirement with the foods. It is so important to only try one new thing at a time so you can pinpoint if something makes you ill or causes cravings.

Cauliflower and spinach are induction veggies, those are cool.

              Did you add any dairy?
Any other nuts/seeds besides pecans and flax?
              Any other berries/melon?

It's easier to check this stuff out early on, that way you can pinpoint if it's a food, rather than thinking you're close to your CCLL. But if you haven't added many foods in, I guess that makes sense on the timeframe. My advice is even if you don't think you're going to eat something very often, try it out when you are at the appropriate rung. It makes things a lot easier!

                Re: How many Calories...

I thought I was adding them to each rung? I'm so confused, and frustrated now. I have had Fage yogurt 2 times. Ummm, Strawberries 2 or 3 times. Pecans once. Almonds. No melons, and I won't for a LONG time because I love melons. I keep losing weight. And I always watch to see what causes cravings for me. I'm going to go through my book again tomorrow, and the Atkins website. I don't want to start over. I feel like I'm doing really well. BLAH!!! I'm ready for bed
