  • To Newbies and/or scale addicts!

FYI - 3 Weeks ago I tried on a pair of 18 jeans! I barely got them all the way up and definitly could not zip them, even if laying down! Today, 3 weeks later I have not lost a lb! Matter of fact I gained 1 lb! I tried on those same 18 jeans (Why I even tried was beyond me) Not only was I able to zip them but with no spill over, if you know what i mean! LOL So just keep in mind that some times you may be losing inches and no lbs! Don't get discouraged when the scale either doesn't move or even goes up a little! You keep your head up and stay positive! If i can succeed, anyone can.

Thanks you all for the congratulations. They are appreciated! But i just wanted to post this to remind everyone including myself (scale addict BAD!) that sometimes the scale is not the most important thing when doing ATKINS!

Thank you! I too am a scale addict. Big time. I went 3 weeks with no loss at all, in fact gaining then losing back and forth a couple of pounds. I still had people tell me I look like I'm melting away! I guess things are still working even tho the scale hates me

I am a scale addict, but I would definately trade that in for my favorite jeans folded nicely on the shelf to magically button again
Congrats on 50lbs. That is definately a major achievement.
