Re: i am so wishy washy...ggrrrrr!!!

I've never made it through the 6 weeks, but that's me for whatever no good excuses. Whenever I use Slim in 6 it gives results and I love doing it. I've stuck with it for 4 weeks several times, including through a 4 day family reunion at our house with an audience and not caring. That in itself was amazing and I need to get back to that point. I have a tendency to care of everyone else and put myself last. I'm still working on that.

Check the exercise forums here also for those using the different beach body workouts. There was at least one old thread with photo documentation of weekly progress. It was amazing! Search for each individual program you're interested in and you're bound to find some users here. If in doubt, ask Brook!

thanks for the info......so i take it you did just the slim in 6 program...is it progressive, meaning you start with one video and move to another....and it has a diet plan but i am guessing you did it along with atkins instead! once you get thru the 6 weeks then what...just continue with the last of the series exercises...looks like so much comes with it. what parts did you use and can you do it in an hour? sorry for all the questions...i am interested!

Going and trying dresses on is a great idea, and if sizing is all out of whack on the tags, then that's another thing to let go of. If the image looking back at you in the mirror is one that makes you happy, you can imagine your wedding day in that dress, then it's all good.
Relax~~you're doing all the right things.
Yes! This is a great answer! The dress has no idea what your number on the scale is. And, do not get obsessed with the number size on the dress either! I work in a boutique, and none of the brands we carry do "vanity sizing" like so many out there do. I have seen so many beautiful women try on beautiful clothes, but refuse to buy them because they are a size ___ (insert whatever number size they are obsessed with). They are passing on clothes that make them look awesome just because they refuse to wear bigger than size ____. Please don't do this!!!! Just go by how you look, and you will be gorgeous. You are doing exactly what you need to do. Just relax and enjoy the process.

        Best Wishes to you!

hi mitzi...you run a boutique...HOW FUN! i think it would be a blast to work with clothes and accessories all the time ( LOVE bracelets and belts). thanks for the advice. you are really right about sizes....i admit to a THRILL when i zipped up a pair of size 6 pants a while back (i still have them in anticipation of wearing them again).....but i do know that wedding dresses and formals in particular run smaller so you get a larger size....i can NEVER wear a 6 dress...my shoulders are too wide and my arms are too long.....the sizing is VERY frustrating when it comes to LOOKING for clothes....why can't it be standardized??? ggrr......

honey if i could find a dress that makes me look good i would take it and run,,,no matter what the # on the tag says....hey!!!! you got something THERE?

Don't forget that if you are working out or excercising that as you lose fat you will gain muscle so even if the scale doesn't budge, usually you are losing inches!

And, Yes Blown away was not the word for it. I hate this windy season. Blah!

So glad to hear that you're not hung up on size numbers!

My niece opened her boutique in November of 2005. She, her mom, her sister, and I work there. (her dad is my brother) We sell clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry, accessories, and gifts. It is an awesome little shop and it is fun working with my sister-in-law and nieces.

You are doing so well... try not to doubt yourself. I know it is hard, because the scale has really slowed down a lot for me, as well. But, almost every week, my clothes look different on me.

              It's all good!
