i lost 10 pounds during the first week of induction and now im up 3 or 4 lbs.? could this be water retension or real weight back on?

You're still down six or seven lbs, which is good. Don't fret too much about scale fluctuations. Scales can be really evil. Better to measure yourself and go by your "shrinkage".

For your peace of mind, you could try posting a couple of typical menus to the "Review my Menu" forum. Sometimes it's only a little thing that needs tweaking to kick start weight loss again.Before and after:
