Hi everyone, ok this veggie challenge has opened my eyes, and for the last two days, i have gotten over 20 net carbs, not all veggies but with everything in total. I went ahead and did my fitday for tomorrow and again im over my carbs, i do have 15 net veggie carbs but a total of 25 net all together, so should i consider myself on owl with just moving on to rung 1 with the extra veggie!!!

Give it a go... Say youre on rung one for the week, see how it effects your weightloss, for some people it speeds up on rung one, if yours doesnt then come back down to induction... if it does stay on rung one for a while...

If you are having more than 3 cups of veggies, you are in OWL rung 1. Don't be afraid of veggies, Lisa!!!!!

Thanks everyone, ok well i guess im in owl rung one, so what does that mean for the rest of my veggie challenge, i need between 17-20 veggie carbs, maybe i need to post this there to lol. I think im all confused, ok my net carbs for veggies have been in the right percentages with what they are asking for on the challenge but my overall carbs are between 20-25 but that is counting everything, like tomorrow for instance i have 15 net veggie carbs, but an overall of 25 net carbs for the day, does that make sense. Remember i still have my two cups of coffee in the morning and i have 2 splendas a day, and the salmon i have tomorrow shows having 1 carb, so total of 25 net carbs, but 15 of those are veggies, ok i probally have confused you all lol.

Lisa, I found I lost MORE weight when I moved up to OWL, not less. More carbs doesn't necessarily mean slower losses. Also, I find the greater food variety helps tremendously in not feeling deprived. And, it teaches you how you can eat this way for life. So, don't be afraid of those good carbs!

Hello Lisa,
By all means! Move on into OWL. It's the best. I was so scared for so long about moving from induction to OWL, no sweat, I lost the majority of my weight on OWL. Give it a shot. My only suggestion is, don't RACE through the rungs, take your sweet time, I've done that this time around, and it's been so nice eating new veggies, and such. I was on rung 1 for almost 6 weeks, and just now moved onto the dairy rung, I will most likely stay here a bit too!!
Take your time, and it's exciting to see you make the move!! Good for you!!
