  • I have a friend...

    who wants to gain weight. What is a healthy way to gain weight without having to drink protien shakes?

    I had a friend with the same problem. He ate a lot of protein and weight lifted. It worked pretty well for him though he still looked skinny (he just plain had a small frame)it was more of a buff skinny if that makes any sense.

      I would say that eating more calorie-dense foods would help, too. Foods like cheese, butter, nuts. Ironically, the same things I'm eating to LOSE weight...

        Calorie dense foods:

        Bananas
        Dry fruit
        Nuts
        Avocado
        Fats
        Starchy vegatables (potatoes, yams, etc)
        Whole dairy products
        Peanut butter
        Almond butter

        He/she may want to go to www.testosterone.com Great site for nutrition minus some of their forums. But has the cutting edge of nutrition...
