Has anyone tried the Super Dieter's Tea while on adkins? I've been on Adkins for 4 weeks and have only lost 2lbs, however I've lost inches, so I know it's working. I think I'm retaining water.

Re: Super Dieters Tea
Before trying it, consider what Senna could possibly do to your system. The one time I ever tried a tea containing senna, it didn't kill me - but at 3 A.M. that night, I almost wish that it had.
Please tread the stimulant laxative road very carefully and please do not take it unless under doctor's orders. If constipation is a problem, you might try increasing your fiber-rich vegetables, upping your water, and/or engaging in regular physician-approved cardiovascular activity. Even coffee can help in a pinch!Sheila, Founder of SugarFreeSheila.com

Re: Super Dieters Tea
Thanks sugar free, well I did try it on Saturday and it didn't do much for me. So I won't be trying it again. I've been eating my veggies and doing 45 minutes on the eliptical machine 3 time a week and walk 3 miles a day. After 29 days I'm disappointed at my results, I've only lost 4 lbs, however I did lose 2 inches off my thighs and 1/2 an inch in my stomach and 1 inch on my chest (not wanting to lose it there).

Re: Super Dieters Tea
I am a super slow loser myself. It could be my age, or that my body is comfortable with this weight, or that I drink wine occasionally. But the thing is, it is coming off. All I can say is hang in there. I mean what is the alternative?

Re: Super Dieters Tea
Maybe you could post a typical day's menu? Somebody will jump in and critique it, and your losses should resume in no time!

Re: Super Dieters Tea
Are you on the dairy rung of OWL? The half and half contains milk if I recollect correctly, which wouldnt be 'legal' till then,Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Re: Super Dieters Tea
You might be losing slowly if you don't actually have that much to lose - I think I read that you can lose up to 10 % of the total loss that you want in the first 2 weeks - so if you have 40lb to lose then a 4lb loss would be good.
If your ketostix are dark purple you probably need to drink more water.

Re: Super Dieters Tea
Thanks UK girl, you make a good point. I have about 22lbs to loose. I get I wanted to lose it all by the end of the month (I'm a dreamer). So based on your calculations, it's going to take me about 5/5 months. Not till October? :-( . I'm drinking 100oz of water every day, do you really think I should drink more?I'm 36, F and 5/10
