Re: help with food menu on induction
Hi Kalistacy,
There are some suggestions for this is DANDR 2002 I forgot the page though and don't have it to hand.
My typical induction menu was:
- 2 fried eggs, 2 (sugar free) bacon strips, 1/3 cup mushrooms fried in pat of butter. 1 oz cheese
- tuna or chicken mayo salad - 1 cup lettuce, 1 cup spinach/watercress with 1oz cheese
- chicken (fried) or salmon (baked in tin foil in oven with olive oil and a small allowance of lemon juice) with half an avocado, 2/3 cup green beans and mayonnaise.
If carbs low then a decaf coffee with cream and the final oz cheese.
Good luck with finding your own favourites too

Re: help with food menu on induction
Well, since you say you are a picky eater, you should look through the Induction Acceptable Foods list to choose the foods you like to eat. Emma and Baarb gave you great sample menues but if you don't like chicken or tuna their menues are pretty useless for you, a picky eater.

Re: help with food menu on induction
Hi! There is a recipie in the back of the dandr book for a great cobb salad dressing. I like to put it on a salad with spinich and mushrooms. I also like to put chicken pieces in the crockpot with just a little butter and some spices and cook all day until it is falling apart tender. That way I have something for dinner and leftovers for lunches and snacks. I doesn't get much easier than using your crock pot!!HW-350
