The ADBB is filled with so many creative people that I thought it would be helpful to share "tips" on individual things we do to stay focused towards making this WOE/WOL a life-style change. (Way of Eating/Way of Living)
Portion control: At home, I use a smaller dinner plate for my meals.
Portion control: I bought small tupperware bowls to portion any leftovers that I want to freeze or refrigerate for another meal.
Portion control: Any time I buy nuts, berries or porkrinds, I immediately re-package them into little baggies so that I don't have to do it each time I eat them. This also makes them ready to 'grab and go' if I'm in a hurry.
Recipes:
I keep a 3x5 card file in the kitchen with acceptable low-carb recipes. When I go to a pot-luck or have a special dinner to go to, I don't have to stress about what to take or how to make something Atkins friendly.
I have lots more, but I'd like to hear what others do to keep their WOL as stress free as possible.
